Douglas Claude Bryant of Northampton passed away at Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on Thursday, September 5, 2002, at the age of 86.
He was born in Warner AB. on April 15, 1916 to his parents George and Thursa ( Dow) Bryant. Douglas is survived by one daughter, Caroline ( Wesley ) Stockford of Northampton, NB; two sons Robert ( Ruth ) Bryant of Woodstock, NB; David ( Jennifer ) Bryant of Toronto, ON.; two sisters, Thelma ( Robert ) Kidney of Moncton, NB; Florence Kidney of Grafton, NB; three brothers Allison ( Helen ) Bryant of Riverview, NB; Wayne Bryant of Montreal, PQ; Arthur Clowes of Moncton, NB; five grandchildren, Tracy (Greg) Stockford; Kimberly (Scott) Bryant; Kevin (Sylvia) Bryant; Tresten Bryant; Devon Bryant; five great gransdsons; several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his parents; his wife, Pauline ( Chapman) Bryant; two brothers, James Bryant and Lawrence Bryant.
Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB. with visiting on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 2 :00 pm from Saint Lukes Anglican Church Woodstock, NB. The Venerable Walter Williams will be officiating, with interment in the Kirk Cemetery, Northampton, NB.
