Note: Loren Adams was my oldest Brother. I remember living in the big house at Sping Valley as a very young child (maybe 3 years old). I remember a big bay window and him. He worked as a hired hand for several years and then went to work at Morrells Meat Packing Plant in Ottumwa, Ia.
He and Kathryn lived on North Court St. I was there during a summer vacation and everyone got the Measles, needless to say I had to stay longer. I was so homesick, they hardly had a back yard. There was about 50(it seemed)steps from the apartment to the garage above, and 50 to the street below.
After working at Morrells he retired. Then became interested in Gardening and old machinery.
