  Book E # 330 (Hillsdale County) Hiram Knapp of Cambria age 28 and Emily Tracy age 22 of Jonesville married in Jonesville on 21 August 1878. He was born Florence, Williams Co, OH , a Farmer she was Born Jonesville, Hillsdale Co. MI. Witnesses were Anson Cook (grandfather) Allen and Oscar Tracy (brother) Jonesville by Minister Abel E. Babcock
  Mary Emily's tombstone has this written on it:
  Mary Emily wife of Hiram Knapp Born Nov. 21, 1855 died Mar. 25, 1895 "It was hard to give thee up but thy will and God(s) be done" ("s" added by WK but was not put on the stone by the engraver.) Hiram is also buried there but no one ever engraved the name for him.
