Note: George H. East, 73 years old, who was associated with his son, J. J.East, in the operati on of West Mount Garden, a tourist and fillingstation establishment on Kingshighway at Hoppe r Road, died at 6:30o'clock Tuesday afternoon at a hospital here. Mr. East was a retiredfarme r and with Mrs. East moved here four years ago from Murphysboro, Illinois The body was taken to the Brinkopf-Howell Funeral Home and will betaken to the Presbyter ian Church Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock forservice at o'clock. The pastor, Rev. C. E. Mo unt, will be in charge andinterment will be in a cemetery at Anna, Illinois Born in Grand Tower, Illinois, Feb. 3, 1876, Mr. East was married in1900 to Martha Rendleman . He was a member of the Presbyterian Church atGrand Tower and of the Knights of Pythias lodg e at Murphysboro.
