a. Note:   According to Hazel Nolan, Clara's obituary was published 25 September 1940, some months after her death. It read, "Mrs. Clara Cline, wife of George R. Cline passed away at her home in Wilson's Beach, April 5. She was 77 years of age, and before here marriage was Clara Searles, daughter of the late William and Louise Searles. Survived by husband, 2 daughters, Mrs. John Porter of Wilson Beach and Mrs. James Quirk of W. Summer, Me. Two sons, Lowell Brown of North Head, and Frank Cline of Campobello. 19 grandchildren, 16 gr-grandchildren. One sister Mrs. Alvin Ramsdell of Rockland and two brothers, John and Walter Searles of Wilson Beach. Poll bearers were -Fred Taylor, Burnham Lank, Varne Fletcher, and Archie Mathews. Family lot Baptist Cemetery. Campobello."
  Clara is buried along side her sons Johnnie Cline and Wheelock Brown, and husband George Cline at Wilson's Beach, Campobello, HOWEVER there is no stone marking she is there.
