W. Matthews, Millwright, 67 Wesley F. Matthews, 67, of Middlesex died yesterday in Muhlenberg Hospital, Plainfield. A Mass will be offered at 9am Saturday in Our Lady of MT. Virgin Church, Middlesex following the funeral from Middlesex Funeral Home 528 Bound Brook Rd. Middlesex. Mr. Matthews was employed by the Simmons Bedding Co., Elizabeth, as a millwright for 26 years. He was a member of the International Association of Machinist, Elizabeth. Born in Elizabeth, Mr. Matthews lived in Plainfield for 40 years before moving to Middlesex six years ago. Surviving are his wife, Clara, three daughters, Beverly, Alice and Patricia and six grandchildren.
