Thursday, February 16, 1899 Andro Melsho and George Stelsko, of Lattimer, wandered into Michael Demscheck's saloon, North Wyoming street yesterday afternoon, and almost immediately thereafter a fight followed. The two men were thrown out into the street, followed by their assailant. Lieutenant Wallace, Officer Matthews and Constable Zelander gathered in the two mentioned above, but their assailant escaped arrest. The unfortunate Melsho had a large cut over the right eye and Stelsko on the back of the head, having been struck by a beer glass. They were given a hearing last evening, fined $3.50, which was paid, and they were discharged. At 10 o'clock last evening Officer Wagner and Constable Airey arrested the third party and he was fined $4.50. The fine was paid and he was discharged.
