CATHERINE BIERILO, 84, ABERDEEN Published in the Asbury Park Press 05/21/05 Catherine (Matthews) Bierilo, 84, of Aberdeen died yesterday, May 20, 2005, at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Born in Elizabeth and formerly of Carteret, she was a resident of Aberdeen for 30 years. She was employed as an assembly line worker for Singer Manufacturing, Elizabeth, for 33 years, retiring at age 62. She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Louise Matthews, and her husband, Louis Bierilo. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Leon Ferrari of Aberdeen; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Betty Bierilo of Aberdeen; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, at 9:15 a.m. from Day Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will be at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation at the funeral home will be held tomorrow, May 22, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Letters of condolence may be sent to dayfh@@oponline.net.
