Price appears in the 1850 Bedford County, TN Census with his wife Lucinda and son James M. Price [see Source]. The 1840 Bedford County Census shows James P. Price [See Source, page 68] listed on the page next to his mother Sarah [See Source, Page 69]. The 1820 Bedford Census shows James P. Price listed near his father Jesse. Therefore, I have concluded that the parents of James P. Price were Jesse and Sarah Price. John C. Price who appears in the 1850 Bedford County, TN Census is a brother of James P. Price since two of his children are named Jesse and Sarah. William O. Price is probably another brother, and he is shown in the 1850 Lincoln County, TN Census. Lincoln County was adjacent to Bedford County in those days."
