On the 1870 Columbia County, Cornie Twp, they are listed as John H. Smith, age 21, born AR, farm laborer, wife Bella (Isabel) age 21, born AR, son James, age 1. In the same household was Marion Smith, (M), age 23, born Texas, farm laborer, Susan, age 21, born Alabama (who ended up in Hopkins/Hunt County area of Texas.
