Land married Catherine Elizabeth Easterwood, daughter of David and Lucinda Easterwood, all of Pickens Co. on Thursday the 20th by Rev. Ellis Gore." 1850 Pickens Co AL Census, Reel 13, Dwelling 1086-1122. 10/29/2002 - Pickens Co, AL, 9/10/1877 Probate Will of Lucinda Easterwood in Book J, Page 615 contains names of all descendents. 3/5/03 - e-mail from Michael Patterson (mfpchat@yahoo.com), ggggrandson of Andrew Jackson Land and Catherine Elizabeth (Easterwood) Land indicates that Catherine Elizabeth (Easterwood) Land died "near Gadsden, AL (Etowah Co), in the early 1860s, and I imagine is buried in Bethany Cemetery there, beside her husband's parents". "Andrew Jackson Land left AL and moved to Franklin Co, TX, soon after 1860. He died there in April, 1880. My gg grandfather was his oldest child, James David Land (1843-1920)."
