  Notice there is no "Jane" as per your records. Perhaps "Jane" and Mary J (the J being Jane) are one and the same. Mary Jane was a very common name, and so, in retrospect, it would seem odd to christen one daughter "Mary Jane" and the next "Jane", whay do you think?
  Anyway, it always makes me happy when I find someone I know on the Census, it makes me feel that I'm not wasting my time, and that they are out there somewhere.
  Also of interest re the above was the fact that all that lot lived in "4 rooms" AND there was also the Lodger.
