  MARENGO - Irene V. Eastham, 96, of Marengo, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at Mercy Harvard Care Center.
  She was born Oct. 1, 1912, in Chicago, to Vytautas and Agota (Mikalauskas) Dowidaitis. She married Albert Eastham, and he preceded her in death July 8, 1979.
  She received her GED in 1980 and almost attained her associate degree after attending Kishwaukee and Harper community colleges. She was a member of a Bible circle at Prince of Peace Church in Schaumburg. She enjoyed swimming, traveling and playing cards.
  She also volunteered at the Senior Center in Schaumburg, helping seniors with their taxes.
  She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Paul) Kruger of Hoffman Estates and Marilyn (Stan) Ahrens of Marengo; a son, David (Kathi) Eastham of Miami, Fla.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two grandchildren.
  The visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Zion Lutheran Church, 408 Jackson St., Marengo. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at the church. The Rev. Glen Borhart will officiate. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park.

Funny tho. the census has great grandpa davis as william grams said his name was Vincent and that william is her cousin./brother in law. this group is getting confusing : ) I've got her cousins ship manifests got them off Ellis can find them but can not find her father anywhere, its like he just appeared out of now where. was told from one of the groups I belong to that Id have to contact Warsaw but Have no clue who in Warsaw to contact.
