Made Mason in 1814 & one of the few who were constant in attendance at the meetings of Blaze Star Lodge during the troublous times of Masonry. Was Worshipful Master of his lodge for 11 years starting in 1834. Also Grand Tyler of the Grand Lodge of NH. Entered the NH militia as a young man as private and worked his way up to Lt. & held every commision up to Maj. Gen. Lived in Concord, NH.
