Was selectman in 1810 to 1813 and in 1822, 1826 & 1831. Was quartermaster June 1811 of the 24th militia. Was justice of the court of common pleas from 1841 to 1848. Was county treasurer. Was representative to the General Court at Concord, NH in 1818, 1820, 1826 to 1827, 1832, 1834 & 1838.
