a. Note:   In Harpswell, Cumberland County, Maine, USA as early as 1770 (probably earlier). Ear marks of his cattle recorded in Harpswell on May 30, 1774. His farm was in the family for over 130 years, the house stood at Cundy's Harbor, East Harpswell, ME. Vol v, page 160 Massachusetts Revolutionary Rolls has: "Eastman, Kingsbury. Return of men enlisted by Capt. John Snow to serve at Harpswell. Service from July 1777 to December 7, 1777. Also sergeant in Capt. Nehemiah Curtis' company, Col. Jonathan Mitchel's regiment. Service from July 7, 1779 to September 25, 1779, 2 months 18 days on Penobscot expedition."
  He had 7 sons and 4 daughters? Sons not listed are said to have been lost at sea.
