a. Note:   #190 Settled in Landaff, NH during the early settlement. Many years voted to a license to keep tavern. Tavern hosted many town meetings and election meetings for the district comprising Landaff, Franconia & Lincoln, NH. In 1818 his house burned and Simeon was severely burned trying to save something. Anna and Lucinda (about 18 years then) barely escaped. He had no insurance and suffered greatly. Built another house that was still standing in 1899.
