a. Note:   #222 Born 1747? Revolutionary soldier from Bath, NH in Capt. Joseph Hutchin's company under Maj. Gen. Gates on August 18, 1777, discharged September 10, 1777. Also in Capt. Samuel Young's company, Col Timothy Bedel's regiment for expedition against Canada, pay commenced February 28, 1778. Also a scout another time. Was in same company of 1776 as Nathaniel Rix where a long life friendship formed. With the exception for shot time Nathaniel Rix was in Canada, Nathaniel & Obadiah always resided near each other. They & their wives died in the same house & were buried in the same grounds in North Lttleton, NH.. Went with parents to Bath in 1767. He built the 1st mill there on Pettyborough brook. He visited his uncle Amos in 1774 in Hollis and met his wife-to-be and married her in Hollis and started the same day on horseback and his wife on a pillon for his future home in bath.
