  Had been in Hebron for 12 years when he died of a stroke at age 72 yr, 1 mo, 9 days. Was a merchant and farmer.
  Obituary from the Monday, November 2, 1936 Lewiston Evening Journal: --ALBERT T EASTMAN-- --Native of Lewiston-- --Former Selectman at Hebron Dies After Short Illness-- Hebron, Nov 2 (special) -- Albert Tracy Eastman died at his home here Monday morning. He had been ill but a short time, suffering a shock a week ago tonight. He was born at Lewiston Sept 23, 1864, the son of Henry and Addie Tracy Eastman. His early life was spent in Lewiston and he attended the schools there. September 25, 1877 [mistype, should be 1887], he married Effie Brown of East Hebron, who died about 12 years ago. For several years Mr. Eastman was employed at Portland and Providence, R.I. and for 35 years conducted a large farm at Buckfield. For the past 10 years he has lived at East Hebron where he conducted a general store and filling station. While in Buckfield he was a member of the school board and was tax collector and in Hebron has served as both selectman and tax collector. He was a member of East Hebron Grange and Knights of Pythias, having joined that order fifty years ago. He is survived by two sons, Reginald Eastman of Buckfield; Roland Eastman of Waterville; two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Savage of Hollis Center; Mrs. Bertha Morse of Buckfield; 13 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, a sister Mrs. Lucy Bearce of Portland, two nieces, Evelyn Rowcraft of Nutley, New Jersey; Ida McBride of Brocton, Massachusetts and several cousins. One daughter Mrs. Beatrice Terrill died a year ago and another daughter, Mrs. Grace Stevens, died about 10 years ago.
