1944 - January 27 Land Sale ( address : 551 Price Pike, Florence, Ky., later road was renamed to 551 Turfway Road) Glenrose Williams (female Boone County Sheriff) (81 acre portion of Ambrose & Linnie Easton's Price Pike farm) TO Arnold & Dorothy Easton -- January 27, 1944 -- $5,000 --Deed Book 81, Page 315, Boone County, Ky. Know all men by these presents, that Glenrose Williams, single for and in consideration of One ($1.00) Dollar and other good and valuable consideration to her paid by Arnold Easton and wife, Dorothy Easton, and the further consideration of Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars cash paid by the Florence Deposit Bank of Florence, Ky., at the special request of Arnold Easton and wife, Dorothy Easton, said Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars evidenced by promissory note or even date executed and delivered by Arnold Easton and wife, Dorothy Easton, payable to the Florence Deposit Bank, said note bearing 5% interest and due and payable six (6) months from date, and to secure the payment of said note and all interest and renewal thereof, a lien is hereby retained on the land hereinafter conveyed in favor of the Florence Deposit Bank of Florence, Ky., the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, does hereby bargain, sell and convey to the said: Arnold Easton and wife, Dorothy Easton, and in case of the death of either to the survivor, his or her heirs and assigns forever, the following described real estate, lying and being in Boone County, Kentucky; Beginning at a point in the center of the Price Pike at a corner with the Kenneth Easton 100 acre tract; thence with a line of this same tract running thru the Easton land and the A.
