Note: 1912 - February 8 - from the Boone County Recorder; James Russell Easton, infant son of Ambrose Easton and wife, who died of pneumonia last Saturday at their home near Devon was seven months and two weeks old. The remains were brought to Hopeful last Sunday afternoon and after a brief and very impressive service conducted by Rev. Tomlinson, were interred in Hopeful Cemetery.
