a. Note:   Married W.H."Bill" Rouse in 1908 Ethel had married a widower, William H. Rouse, with two small children--Clifford and Maude. The deceased mother of the children had been Henry Louis' cousin. They were 1 and 6 respectively in 1910. The family moved to Covington about the beginning of World War I. Some of Paul Tanner's (Alonzo's son) recollections are visiting them at 308 Greenup Street.
