Note: Source: The Kentucky Post Pub.: 1997-04-21 Freda Easton Henderson, 82, of Covington, died at 8:50 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Health Care Center in Covington. She was a homemaker and a member of Oakland Baptist Church, Sparta. Her husband, Elmer Henderson, died in 1982. Survivors include a daughter, Louise Spencer of Louisville; sons, Elmer Vernon Henderson of Covington and Harold Henderson of Morning View; a brother, Harold Easton of Warsaw; sisters, Marie Miller and Loraine Richen, both of Amelia, Ohio, Ida Lou Woodie of Batavia, Ohio; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Oakland Baptist Cemetery, Sparta. Memorials are suggested to the church.
