  From page in Lewellen Tanner's bible (now in the possession of Michael Schmaltz, Dallas TX): Ephraim Dutton Tanner, son of Lewellen and Eliza Ann Tanner, was born Oct 29th 1854, Died Jan 12th 1931, age 76 years, 2 mo, 14 days. he was joined in wedlock to Anna Elizabeth Jackson March 18th, 1884. to this union was born three (3) daughters, Isabelle, Daisy and Goldah. He made a profession on Christian religion 38 years ago joining the universalist church and was a faithful worker during his active life. he leaves to mourn his loss his wife, children, three (3) grandchildren, one brother Lewis Andrew Tanner of Burlington Ky and a host of other relatives and friends. he died in the triumphs of a living faith . we feel our loss _____________________-
