transcribed from actual marriage license copy by Kathy Caminiti: Know all Men by these Presents: That we Charles Maddox and Thomas Losey are held and firmly bound, unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the just and full sum of One Hundred Dollars, current money, in the payment of which, well and truly to be made, We bind ourselves, our heirs, etc., jointly and severally, by these presents, sealed and dated this 11th day of June 1859. The condition of the above obligation is such that, whereas there is a Marriage shortly intended to be solemnized between the above bound Charles Maddox and Barbery N. Vaugh.
