a. Note:   r this entry !!! The event is obscured by a blob, but I have a copy from an alternative source - Totnes. She was shown in the census as Maria Mardon, and, for the first time her birthpl Providence 'Cottage' was between 9 & 10 George Street, sole occupancy of two rooms as shown in 1891 Census ! Providence Cottage wouLd seem to have 'arrived' between the 1881 and 1891 censuses. Entry for Maria Mardon F (James Mardon was her second /only husband ? ) From FreeBMD/Ancestry Death indexes July-Aug-Sept 1898 Vol 5B Page 204. Not found in 1901 Census.
