  10/2009: Kids all said they were so poor that Aunt Mabel would provide their Christmas presents which had been donated to the orphanage. Later, Aunt Mabel would give her dresses to Esther when Mabel was tired of them. Esther thought they were great and was reminded by Mabel often where the dresses came from.
  10/2009 Kids said Mabel had a good superintendent who with Mabel were very strict in the operation of the orphanage.
  10/2009 Jim said that Mabel always had nice flowers.
