Note:   BIOGRAPHY: "Who is Kessey OR Keziah BURGESS born about 1790 of Bedford County, Virginia. on the 27th of May 1817, We find the following: On the motion of the overseers of the Poor - It is ordered that they bind Armstead BURGESS son of Kessey BURGESS to John HOLLIGAN according to law. Old County Court Order Book 17 page 408. Bedford County, Virginia. Present David Saunders, Preasant M. GOGGLIN, John HEADEN, and Wm IRVING Gentleman Justice and Court. I have found a Keziah Burgess in Bedford, VA in 1790 (which is about the year our Keziah was born). I found her bonded to Jno Nichols Sen. There was also a James Burgess bonded to the same man in 1795. I didn't know they ever bonded infants, but if this is our Keziah I guess they did. She and James would certainly have to have been related some way. Have you run across this same info and, if so, have you been able to identify James?
