Note: Miss Lucy New married to Owensboro Man Marriage of former Canton Lady Takes Place in Kuttawa June 1914 Miss Lucy New, of Dawson, sister of Mr. S. M. New, of this county, was married on Wed. of last week at Kuttawa, to Mr. W.R. Jagoe, of Owensboro. The bride formerly lived at Canton, but for a number of years past has resided in Dawson and during the past school term, was Matron of Logan female College at Russellville. She is a splendid lady and a number of friends still reside in Trigg. Her husband is a prominent citizen of Owensboro, and is an officer and large stock holder in the Davies Co. Planning Mill Company at Owensboro.
