Note: An employee if the US Engineer Department of Metropolis, died at the Illinois Central Hospital. He had been ill since early in June. He was born in Kuttawa and moved to McCracken Co when young, spending much of his life in Paducah. He graduated from Kuttawa high school in the class of 1931 and later attended Murray State Teachers College. Pallbears: Wood Irwin, Kuttawa, Fred Stallins, Princeton, Russell Easterday, Dr. W. A.
