Note: MRS. EATON DIES AT I. C. HOSPITAL HERE AFTER LONG ILLNESS. Formerly Secretary to Attorney; Was Native of McCracken County *** Mrs. Henrietta Eaton, 32, wife of Dr. William Eaton, died at 11:30 p. m. Thursday at Illinois Central hospital after an illness of over a year. Mrs. Eaton was, before her marriage, Miss Henrietta Jett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Jett of Lamont. She is survived by her husband, her parents, and two brothers, Baker Jett of Heath and Morton Jett of Paducah. Mrs. Eaton was formerly secretary to Commonwealth Attorney Holland Bryan and served for a time as court reporter for the McCracken grand jury. She was secretary of the Carson Park Riding Club, treasurer of the Women's Auxiliary of the McCracken County Medical Society, and a member of the auxiliary of the state medical society. Mrs. Eaton was also affiliated with the Junior Woman's Club and was a member of the Young Women's Democratic Club. She was graduated from the Dorian private school and attended Paducah Junior College for a year. She was a member of the First Christian church. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Saturday at the First Christian church with the Rev. L. K. Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Dr. H. A. Massey, Holland Bryan, Charles Jennings, Dr. L. P. Molloy, Norman Sullivan and Dr. E. W. Jackson. Friends may call at Roth chapel.
