"Vance C. Baxter, 69, died at home August 19, 1999. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Joan; his daughter Linda McClanahan of Redmond; son Michael of SeaTac; daughter and son-in-law Robin and Bob Keen of Portland, OR; son and daughter-in-law Timothy and Tammy of Lake Stevens; 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson; Mr. Cat; his mother Ann Keller; sister Lois Ward of Baker City, OR; brother Dick Baxter of Naches; and sister Maureen Mengis of Portland, OR. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 21 at 11:30am at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood. Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hsopice of Snohomish County.
