Note: Notes from the Heald Assoc. John Heald followed the oil fields from Warren Co. PA to Illinois, Kentucky, Wyoming, and Texas. He moved to Texas when he was eight years old and never went back to visit relatives. He must have married twice, but wives are unknown, two known sons, Charles Herron Held of Houston, Texas, as in 1971, and Ralph Heald, who passed away in Youngstown, Ohio in 1957.
He mentioned in a letter to Jack Heald of the Heald Assoc. that he nor his brothers and sisters ever saw the grandparents on his dad's side.
