HEALD, 81 a retired cabinet, of 206 Grant St., at 11 am/. Saturday1 Jan. 14, 1967, in Warren General Hospital. He had been hospitalized for the past six weeks. He was born Oct.27 1885, In Glade Township and was a resident of the area practically all of his life. He was a cabinetmaker for the Phoenix Furniture Company for 10 years prior to his retirement in 1954. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and the Men's Bible Class. In earlier year's he was a minister of various Nazarene Churches. Surviving are his widow, Mabel Anderson Heald; a son, Donald Heald of RD 2, Russell, four daughters, Elaine Heald at home, Mrs, Frank (Lois) Flood Jr. of Warren, Mrs, Stanley (Phyllis) Albaugh of Clarendon and Mrs, James (Grace) Scalise of Warren; a brother, Clarence W. Heald of Warren; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Schular of Jamestown, N.Y, and Mrs, Lulu Kittner of Fort Lauderdale, Fla, 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 2 p..m. tomorrow at Peterson-Blick Funeral Horn, The Rev. John Andree of First Church of Nazarene will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Heald, 206 Grant St,, observed their golden wedding anniversary on July 11, with an open house held at the family residence, Hosts for the affair were the couple's five children, Donald Heald, Miss Elaine Heald, Mrs, Frank (Lois) Flood, Mrs.Stanley (Phyllis) Albaugh, Mrs.James (Grace) Scalise, Mrs.Heald received her guests in a brown and white dress with a yellow rosebud and white carnation corsage, Mr, Heald wore a yellow rosebud boutonniere, The flowers were presented by their children. The former Mable Anderson and Cyrus Heald were united in marriage on July 14, 1914, at the home of the bride's parents, 21 Dartmouth St,, Warren, In addition to their five children, the couple has ten grandchildren, The following granddaughters assisted at the open house, Miss Jean Heald, cut the cake, Miss Carol Flood poured, Miss Debra Flood managed the guest book, The refreshment table decorated with white tapers and wedding bells, was centered with a three wedding cake topped with golden bells and a large gold '50' trimmed with yellow roses, Silverware and candy dishes used on the refreshment table were original wedding gifts of the couple. A money tree was presented to the couple by their children, The house decorations were carried out in floral bouquets sent to the couple as anniversary gifts, Among the many friends and relatives attended were two members of the original party, Miss Bessie Lunn cousin of Mrs. Heald and Clarence Heald, brother of Mr. Heald. The couple were also remembered on July 5 by the Nazarene Sunday School, who presented them with a pink rosebud and white carnation corsage and a white carnation boutonniere."
