Note: Warren Times Observer "Mrs, Eva Beecher Heald 88, died at 2:30 Wednesday, 13 Feb. 1980, at the Watson Home, where she had been a resident since 1972. Born in Warren, on 02 Jun. 1891, she was the dau. of the late, Asher George and Martha Winchester Beecher, a lifetime area resident she had been a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W. Heald, who died on 21 Feb. 1871, her parents, two brothers, George Beecher and Walter Beecher, two sisters, Mary Toyer and Ellen Swavey, a son, Wesley Heald, a grandson, and great grandson.
Surviving are three daus., Mrs. Kathleen Myers, Clarendon, Mrs. Marian Emmett, Port Allegany, and Mrs. Martha Longcor, Vallejo, Calif, two sons, Charles Heald, Corry, and Merle Heald, Bemus Point, NY., 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Peterson Block Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Deryl Larsen, pastor of the Epworth United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Warren County Memorial Park. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
