  FULTON, Ky. -- Hattie Lou Cochrum Shelton Boyd, 83, of Fulton, Ky., died March 4, 2004, at Haws Memorial Nursing Home.
  Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, Ky., with Miles Mayo officiating. Burial was in Cuba Cemetery in Cuba, Ky.
  Sisca Yates, Doug Rial, Owen Shelton, Howard Lawrence, John Wayne Boyd and Keith Lawrence served as pallbearers.
  Mrs. Boyd was born April 29, 1920, in Graves County, Ky., the daughter of the late Chauncey "Chance" and Fairry Mae Sanders Cochrum. She worked several years at the South Fulton School cafeteria and was active in the senior citizens group in Fulton. She was a member of the Smith Street Church of Christ in South Fulton.
  Survivors include her husband, William Earl Boyd of Fulton, Ky.; two daughters, Zadonna Rial of Greenfield and Ranice Jane Charlton of Wingo, Ky.; two sons, Phillip Shelton of Union City and Scott Boyd of Symsonia, Ky.; a stepdaughter, Margaret Lawrence of Fulton, Ky.; a stepson, John Wayne Boyd of South Fulton; six grandchildren, Sisca Yates of South Fulton, Shannon Townsend and Tara Keeling, both of Union City, Rae Charlton of Paducah, Ky., Holly Charlton of Wingo, Ky., and Owen Shelton of Maryville; four step-grandchildren, Angela Wilhauks of Humboldt, Keith Lawrence and Crystal Castleman, both of South Fulton, and Wayne Boyd of Nashville; two sisters, Frances Adams of Detroit, Mich., and Rue Dean Holmes of Dearborn Heights, Mich.; seven nieces, four nephews and several great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arnold Eugene Shelton and two brothers, Ansel Lamar "Buck" Cochrum and J. Freeman Cochrum.
