Carroll Poston
Carroll Poston, 63, Oak View, died Sunday at home after a long illness. He was born Jan. 18, 1925, in Oakland, and lived in Oak View 56 years. Mr. Poston worked in the maintenance department of the Ojai Valley School District. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving overseas in World War II.
He is survived by wife Helene: daughters Carolyn Villines of Ojai, Jackie Williams of Oak View and Willene Droegmeir of Oak View ; son Mark; brother Clarence of Oak View; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
No services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Clausen Funeral Home, Ojai.
