Note: ng a spry little lady. If you went to her house(It was only two rooms) it was always so hot inside I think she kept her ole wood stove going year round (I know she didn't but it felt like it). She would have me comb her hair. It was soooo long and she would twist it and then circle it on the back of her head and pin it. She chewed tobacco and dipped snuff and knew everything that was happening in this little town of Ralston. She always had cantelope or watermelon she wanted to share with you. If she came to visit at our house and I was asleep when I woke I would know she was there as she always put a wrapped piece of bubble gum in my mouth.One time when I arrived at her house she was sitting outside and would not go inside as she said a black snake had gotten in. We waited for my Dad and sure enough, he found it. Only then would she reenter her house.
