  Buried in the same cemetery, Forest Hill, in Eau Claire, is a William J Carter, b. 1839 in New York. Family trees say he was a logger in Eau Claire, and had a daughter named Levena. I feel fairly sure this William J Carter was Lovena Carter Rose’s brother.
