In his travels Dr. McCray has visited many places of interest and met many notable people. In the photograph it will be seen that Dr. McCray now wears a beard, the result of his traveling in the east where he thought it safer to refrain from shaving owing to the prevalence of so many skin diseases. When asked whether he would settle down again he said that it was not his intention, as he had just made arrangements to make an extended tour through the western states, returning to Prescott late in the fall: to use his own expression he said he intended to make the Wandering Jew look like a setting hen.” (from The Northwestern druggist:a progressive journal for retail druggists, Volume 14, 1913) The accompaning photo shows Henry with an impressive beard standing in front of a fountain in St. George’s Park, Aukland, New Zealand. 1914-Passport application Living in Prescott, occupation Physician, Age 64, height 5 ft 5 in, forehead high, eyes hazel, nose straight, mouth mustached, chin round, hair gray (thin), complexion fair, face long. 1920 - 8 Dec - "to the Editor of the New York TImes; During the next ten years the hooters, bandits, morons, speed maniacs and half-grown girls who drive a majority of the autos will kill enough men, women, and children to make a city the size of Albany. There will be a few miles of editorials wasting valuable wood pulp. Countless words will heat the air. But nobody does anything. Everybody seems to have forgotten that pedestrians were made before the tin Lizzies, and that they have a right to be on earth. Such a simple remedy would be a law confiscating the cars of the assassins and sending them to the penitentiary for life. H. B.
