a. Continued:   Leander Wilson, SN 2129995, was a private in the U.S. Army duringWorld War I. He served with Company D, 312th Service Battalion,Quartermaster Corps from 22 Feb 1918 through 2 July 1919.
  On 5 Oct 1955, Lee Wilson was in the Crile VA Hospital, 7300 York inCleveland, OH for an infection and surgery. He was scheduled toretire from the New York Central Railroad in five months. Lee saidbrother-in-law Frank had twelve years to work before retiring. On 23Nov 1955, Lee had another minor operation.
  In 1957, Leander Wilson had re-married and was living in Mounds, IL.Lee's wife had five children, two of whom (sons) were about tocomplete high school. One son was named Aaron. The property that Leebought had acreage around it and he spoke of having a cow that gave3-1/2 gallons of milk daily, some pigs and a big garden. Leecontinually spoke of his Christianity and being a re-born Christian.He never spoke well of Princess.
  Lee wrote Velva Mae regarding his mother's death in St. Louis on 23May 1957. His mother was 104 years old and Lee had siblings living inSt. Louis.
  Lee had recently retired from a job as an attendant on the railroad.On 5 Apr 1958, he was a patient in the VA Hospital in Marion, IL. Hedied in July that year.
