Continued: Princess Ella moved to Muskegon in 1945. Princess worked as amachinist at Teledyne Continental Motors. Princess and Lee divorcedand both re-married. Lee was living at 630 Ewing Street in Toledo, OHon 7 May 1955. Princess continued her employment as a machinist until her retirementin 1973. Her brothers Warren, Calvin, Booker, Dewitt and her niece JuanitaJones also re-located to Muskegon as employment opportunities therewere much better for all. Princess had no children of her own but mothered many of her nieces,nephews, and brothers. She was fondly nicknamed "T.T." by the family. Nieces Opal and Eloise were nicknamed " Baby-T" and "T.T.", possiblyby Princess Ella. On 8 June 1966, Princess was hospitalized with a leg problem. SisterVelva Mae was with Princess helping with her care on 5 July 1966. Princess Ella was listed as a Postal Clerk; Foundry Worker on herdeath certificate. She was taken to the emergency room at MercyHospital where she died at 2:12 PM. The causes of death were listedas acute massive Myocardial Infarction, Hypertension; ArterioleSclerative Heart Disease, and Diabetes Milletus. Her niece, JuanitaJones was listed as the informant. Funeral services were held 11 Mar 1989 at the New Light Baptist Churchin Muskegon. Rev. Cleveland Quinn gave the obituary and Rev. ElvinSmith gave the eulogy. Princess was listed as a past member of thechurch. Reynolds Memorial Chapel, 2211 Jarman St., Muskegon Heights, MIhandled the funeral.
