a. Continued:   Booker Taliaferro served in World War II and always had a love fortravel. Booker lived in several states and resided in MuskegonHeights, MI at the time of his death. He drove to St. Louis many timesto visit sister Velva Mae and family.
  Booker's first wife Rosie is deceased.
  There is a penny post card from Booker, return address 318 or 388Third St., Minot, ND to Velva Mae, Bragg City, MO, dated 20 July 1936,on which Booker writes: "Dear Sis, How are you and family and how is(the) crops? I am well and working every day. I don't make much.Say Sis, do you all ever hear or see any of my boy friends? Love toall, Good Bye".
  In 1965, Booker and Marsha attended the New York World's Fair.
  Booker and Gracie Harris, who last resided in Atlanta, Cass Co.,Texas, had one child, Josephine Morton Griffith. Josephine was namedafter her grandmother, Josephine Hardy. Booker and Gracie hadseparated and on 19 July 1966 Gracie wrote to Velva Mae that Bookerwas not sending the $20.00 monthly child support for Josephine in MN.Josephine needed an ear operation and Booker would not allow Josephineto visit him. Booker was now with Marsha.
  Booker and Wife Marsha Jackson were both retired when Marsha died ofpancreatic cancer. Booker worked as a security guard with aproduction company and Marsha was a licensed practical nurse. Bookerwas best known for his fun-loving joking manner.
  Booker and Marsha frequently drove to St. Louis to visit Velva Maeand Marsha's brother Artis Jackson who lives in Alton, IL. They wouldalso drive to Cairo, IL to visit Susie Lee and then to Indianapolis,IN to visit Josephine, the widow of Albert Morton who was the only sonof Edgar, Thord's brother.
  On 26 June 1999, Juanita Jones and another family member forced theirway into Booker's locked home in Muskegon Heights, MI., and found himin a coma. The doctor said that Booker had probably been in a comafor at least 48 hours prior to being found. He died at 1:37 AMwithout regaining consciousness. Booker's sister, Frances, hadtraveled from Maywood, IL to be with him. Booker had been undertreatment for prostate cancer and had had a colostomy. The immediatecause of death was Metabolic Encephalopathy and Type II DiabetesMellitus. Booker was attended by Mark Hyndman, MD.
  Reynolds Funeral Home, 2211 Jarman St., Muskegon Heights, MI, handledBooker's funeral service. His sister, Frances Alston, was theinformant. Pastor Willie F. Wilson delivered the Eulogy.
  Booker did not participate in previous family reunions and we missedhis presence.
