Notes
a. Continued:   Rebecca Stanley Morton is believed to have died at the age of about 26years as a result of breast cancer. I believe that great-grandmotherRebecca is buried in The Colored Section of Oak Grove Cemetery inCharleston, Mississippi County, MO near great-grandfather FrankRobert. There is no record of her death nor any records of herinternment at the cemetery or a headstone at Oak Grove. There was norequirement for states to maintain death or birth records until 1912.However, Mississippi County, MO did record birth and death informationprovided voluntarily by families between 1883 and 1910 but none hasbeen located for our family members to date.
Annie and Frank Robert had children together which possibly includedElwood and Talbot and positively included Roy, Robert Leslie, George "Hamp", and Albert. Great-grandfather Frank Robert also had a daughter,Lila S. Morton Clark, by step-daughter Bertie/Birdie in 1892.
