Thelicense was filed on 10 Feb AD 1880, J.H. Bethune, Recorder. Theoutcome of this marriage is unknown and requires additional research.
  In an interview with Lila Morton Clark on 18 May 1983, she describedAnnie Palace Burton as being a dark skinned woman with nice hair.Lila believed that great-grandmother Annie was buried across thedriveway from Frank Robert at Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston, MO butwithout a headstone. The family could not get the funds together toplace the stone. Lila believed Annie died in 1904 in Charleston, MO.
