Continued: "Woman Fatally Stabs Man, 73 In Home. A woman has admitted fatallystabbing a 73-year old man in his home in North St. Louis during afight Tuesday night, homicide detectives said. The Body of JamesMorton was found Wednesday morning, several hours after the fightwhen the woman, Denise Leachman, 24, led police to the victim's house,at 3725 St. Ferdinand Avenue".
"Leachman told police that she had stabbed Morton three or four timesafter he beat her with his fists, detectives said. Leachman, of the2700 block of Blair Avenue, was booked on suspicion of murder. Awarrant was being sought Wednesday night. Morton and Leachman hadbeen friends for a long time, detectives said. The two quarreled andhit each other about 9 PM Tuesday after Morton accused Leachman ofstealing from him police said".
"After stabbing Morton, Leachman went home and later walked to arelative's home in University City. She eventually surrendered topolice at the Eighth District Police Station, 1430 Deer Street".
