Continued: On 7 Nov 1942, Joe applied for a delayed certificate of birth. He was37 years of age and lived at 3710 Cook Ave in St. Louis, MO. He wasemployed by National Bearing Metals Corp at the time. Joe's father,Joe Sr., signed the certificate. He lived at 1212 N. Prairie Avenuein St. Louis. A neighbor of the Bonner's, Rosa B. Lacy who lived at1208 N. Prairie, also witnessed the certificate as being present atJoe Jr's birth in TN. Joe had been in declining health the past few years and was diagnosedas having Alzheimer's Disease in Jan 1999. He became a resident ofFairfield Manor Nursing Home in Dec 1999 and remained there until hisdeath at DePaul Medical Center. On 20 May 2000, a doctor at DepaulMedical Center informed Frencella that Joe also had End Stage Liverdisease which was incurable and he was experiencing gastro intestinalbleeding. He was 94 years of age at the time of his death at 9:19PM. Joe's Obituary appeared in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Newspaper on 23May 2000. His visitation and funeral services were held on 25 May2000 at Wade Funeral Home-Twin Chapel, 4800 Natural Bridge, SaintLouis City, MO. Rev. Dr. O'Neal Shyne, Jr., Pastor, Lane TabernacleC.M.E. Church was the Officiante. Funeral expenses were $6,540.10.
