a. Continued:   Dorothy Boens, daughter of Birdie/Bertie Swift, was listed among thearchived papers turned over to the Mississippi County MO GenealogySociety of Charleston, MO. Dorothy died as a result of curvature ofthe spine. She was almost five years of age. Dorothy is probablyburied at Oak Grove Cemetery, Colored Section, in Charleston without aheadstone or a record of her burial. There was no requirement fordeath or birth certificates until 1912 and the cemetery administrationno longer has records.The funeral record of Dorothy was included inthe Nunnelee Funeral Home Records.
