a. Continued:   Gladys Burnett moved to East St. Louis, IL at an early age andattended the public schools there. She was a member of the Mt. ZionBaptist Church. Years later, she joined the Macedonia Baptist Churchwhere she served on the Usher Board. Gladys united with the PilgrimGreen Baptist Church later.
  Gladys lived in East St. Louis and with her son in Indiana. Sheworked at Rush City N.O.C. with the children. After the Head StartProgram began, she was the head teacher until her resignation due tohealth problems.
  Rev. R. C. Cosey, Pastor of Pilgrim Green Baptist Church, 1028Mississippi in East St. Louis, IL, gave the Eulogy. The OfficerFuneral Home was in charge of arrangements.
