Note: ! Susan Westmoreland, the wife of Hezekiah Hairston, birthdate and death date are taken from the 'Westmoreland Family Bible' . A desposition taken in 1850 of Robert and John Hairston states that their parents died in Alabama known to them only by rumor. Hezekiah was listed on the 1830 Montgomery County Alabama census. It was reported that he was a 'constable' in Montgomery County Alabama about 1820. He fought in the Creek Indian War 1836-1837. He was listed on the 1840 Montgomery County Alabama census . His children were listed in the Westmoreland Bible.
